A Present

Jellybean Reindeer

Dear Heather,

Merry Christmas!

I hope you like the present I made especially for you at Homemaking using one of the Styrofoam balls of many sizes from my year’s supply. He’s a one of a kind, limited edition sweetheart. I call him Tweed.

Happy Holidays!

  1. John says:

It would otherwise be cute if it weren’t for the lips. There is something scary and disturbing about the lips. Haunting, even.

  2. Beth says:

Oh, now that’s just FUNNY! I don’t know what makes it – the fluffy tail or the googly eyes.

I’m swaying towards the googly eyes.

  3. tree says:

    I love it!
You inspired me to find a Christmas Craft that I did years ago. I’m still very proud of it:

    What do you think?

  4. Susan M says:

It’s the feet… the legs and feet are marvelous :-)

  5. Betina says:

I believe it is now called “Home Family and Personal Enrichment”

  6. wordgirl says:

    It’s like Mrs. Potato Head…only with Jelly-Bellies.

  7. leahpeah says:

HFPE? That’s what it’s called now? Why is Personal last?

  8. Now this is my kinda craft. Slightly disturbing, giggle inducing, compelling. All those people making cut-out angels and nativity scenes from pipecleaners and twigs can suck it. This is what the festive season is all about. Garish gifts with googly eyes.

  9. Betina says:

The good news is that starting in January HFPE is to be held only quarterly.

Hmmm… that is a bit disturbing. Yet, enticing. I wonder what kind of noise this animal would make?

  11. [...] Whenever Robin and I get together, we do something crafty. (Yes, Heather, we do. And it’s never involved pom-poms or googly eyes. Next time you and I get together, I’m bringing clay and glass eyes and we are going to make heads!!) I’ve been too busy to think about anything remotely creative so I wasn’t even thinking about it. But she came prepared to do a little crafting and what did she pull out of her bag? Heads. [...]
