And I'm so glad I did. What a beautiful piece you wrote here, so full of real, maternal, loving thoughts. I'm not a mother as of yet, but I can see reflections of my own mother in what you wrote... that summer before I left for university. And I have to say, the little part you wrote about remembering your daughter so many years ago on the swings "take this photo" - had me in tears.
