Good Hotel/Spa Rate?
My daughter’s birthday is coming up in October and I’d like to take her and her friends to a nearby hotel with spa. Does anyone know where to find good rates?

Look at TripAdvisor or Expedia and find where you would like to go. Then get on the phone.
You’re a naturally charming person, so try for the human touch. Don’t call a corporate 800 number. Call the desk and charm them and talk forever and schmooze and plead your case and tell them about your sweet girl and how special this will be for her. Ask for the manager (in your nicest voice) if you think that will help.

How many nights? Just one? I like luxurylink.com, but most of their things are two or three nights and up. They have some awesome deals, though.

I don’t know about a hotel with a spa nearby, but if you decide to go with a day spa, you can’t go wrong with Burke Williams.
